The Slow Burn - 12 Hard Things
What is the challenge
- Create a list of 12 hard things you've been procrastinating, hate doing, are afraid of, etc. (i.e., dieting, working out, a specific chore, etc.)
- Decide on the length of the challenge. We recommend a minimum of 12 weeks (1 hard thing per week).
- Assign the 'hard thing' based on your timeline (e.g., 1 per month, 1 per week, etc.).
- Reflect at the end of the hard thing and decide if you: (1) keep it, (2) keep it but modify it, or (3) stop.
- Share your list of hard things and your monthly decision with a group for accountability.
Why only one 'hard thing' per month?
We're in the business of making you Whole Again, not doing some short challenge that'll not actually change your life. We recommend 30 days to help establish a habit but understand if you want shorter or longer times.
What are some examples of hard things?
- Stick to a diet
- Read 10 pages every day
- Post on social media
- Work out for 30 minutes
- No TV
- 30 minutes of screen time on your phone

- and so much more!
